Your works are wonderful...

One of my dearest friends, Cat, took this photograph while walking through a tropical forest in Costa Rica. Her and her husband, Matt, have seized the opportunity of fulfilling a lifelong dream of traveling and exploring this beautiful world the Lord has blessed us with. Their stories and experiences are inspiring, beautiful, and full of evidence of creation and a world that points directly back to God. Often times the sights they see humbly move them to tears. We get to vicariously live through them and their adventures, enjoying the photography they share that provides a glimpse of the majestic beauty they are beholding on a daily basis.

Yesterday I received a heartwarming and encouraging email from Cat that had this photo attached to it. It's a cross-shaped rock she stumbled across on the floor of the tropical forest. She said it reminded her of Darcy and I when she found it. It's shaped as a cross, but not one that has been carved by that was carved out by nature. As you can's been printed and framed already. Thanks Cat...I love it!.

Lord of all indeed are everywhere and can be seen in all things. Your works are wonderful; I know that full well. For this, I thank you and again give you all of my praise. Thank you for Catherine, for her gift of friendship, for this unexpected blessing, and for the reminder of Who you are. Give me eyes that see you and a heart that seeks you in all that exists.

For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
~Colossians 1:16
