Party Like A ROCK STAR!

This past Saturday Brooke celebrated her 5th birthday with 5 friends and 2 cousins
in the finest ROCK STAR fashion
Let's just say this one FUN FUN FUN Party!
It was fun to plan, fun to host, and FUN all around.
We took so many pictures.
I'll let the photos do the talking...

The day of the party...

Waiting for our guests to arrive

All guests required to walk the red carpet upon arrival...
pass through security...
get wristband and approval to enter...

to rush inside for loads of fun!

Most of the girls posed for the camera when rockin' the red carpet...

but a few were a bit shy.

Once inside we ate many of brooke's favorite things...mac-n-cheese, pb&j's, black olives, dill pickles, rice cakes and more...

auntie em and j testing out the cupcake microphones
(they really worked!) :)
Time for a little game...

and a lot of dance...

Daddy (AKA: the "Bouncer") set up a black light, strobe light, lava lamp and blue lighting to create our very own Studio 54 in the basement.
To my surprise, these little girls danced their hearts out for quite some time
(to the sweet melodies of Hannah Montana and Taylor Swift)

and then we stopped for a couple of Rock Star crafts...

followed by gifts...

cake and wish-making...

and then time outside to color our hair in Rock Star fashion...

get tattoos...
and play!

It was a fabulous party...

enjoyed by all...
(even lil' sis)
so much fun that we didn't want it to end
(but we won't end today on a sad note...)
Overall, this little 5 year old partied like a Rock Star and added one more exciting chapter to the story of her life.
A true star to us.
You shine sweetheart.
Happy 5th Birthday!
